Ta-DA!
I'm back!!!
So, on Thanxgiving, my mom and I officially ushered in the Christmas season: We made her family Christmas cookie and we watched "A Christmas Story" for the first time this year!
That nite the fam, choosing to forego making a meal, got all dreaaed up and went to a resort for dinner. I like this much better because this way Mom doesn't get all stressed. It was fun, too, because I felt ike one of the Kennedys. You know, Jackie makde them "dress" for dinner, and my mom kind of looks like her anyway.
After that we all went to see "Enchanted" which was really darling.
I wish you your heart's desires!!

Remember, Remember, the Fifth of November...
...Because today is the day that my best friend moved to South Africa. It's lucky for me I've got two best friends, but just the same, I am very sad. Though, worse things have happened. Not to me, of course, but to other people.
Whoa! That means someone is actually going to be reading this! Tripppyyyy!

Amendment
So, I realized that my non-readers probably don't know who Andy Warhol was. For this, I beg forgiveness. And I thought I'd enclose a photo of Andy and one of his work. However, because I am mentally incapacitated, I don't remember how to put pictures here. So you'll just have to wait.
AND, for those of you who do know who Andy Warhol was, I would like to say that I only dig the good stuff and none of the bad. None at all. I'm not that kind of girl.

So I have a confession
And that confession is.....
I forgot about this thing.
Which isn't so bad, because I haven't told anyone about it. Well ,that's not true. I told a few of my pals from school in fleeting. They laughed and forgot. Wise choice.
In a way, it's kind of nice to have something basically private online--and it's really novel to have something with any hint of privacy on the WORLD WIDE WEB. It makes me happy. Though, maybe it also makes me stupid for putting snything down here....
I will let the imaginary reader draw his own conclusions.
Anyway, I was a hermit today, which was splendid. I hardly get any alone time any more, and even though I wasn't alone much today, it was a day of lathargy and relaxation...and little-to-no contact with school people. No offense to them, but I see almost all of them six days of the week and that is just too much. Obviously I am going to make a terrible wife someday.
I tried putting a picture of myself on here for my profile or whatever, but I am technologically challenged, so that didn't happen. My my this is boring.
I will spice it up with the fact that I saw Hot Hot Heat in concert last Monday. Yeeees, that's right. And I know that all the people not reading this are totally jealous. Anyway, it was amazing--they're a great band to see in concert--and I even got to meet the lead singer. That's right. You heard me. I met Steve Bays. And, as it turns out, he's a pretty cool guy--at least to fans like me and Morgan (who I went with. Who is one of my best friends). So yeah. That was totally amazing, like I said.
Do you, my dear non-reader, ever feel like you've surrounded yourself with people who you love dearly, but who don't really get you? The answer is no, of course you don't--you don't exist. But I do, and sometimes (frequently of late) I feel that way. I think everyone does from time to time...I'll get over it. Besides, college isn't so far away...
Well, farewell, non-reader, until I remember this blog again...

In the beginning
So....
I've decided to start a blog. Obviously. Now I think I can journal in, like, every possible medium. I think I'll try pudding on the walls next and see how that goes. Haha, wow that was in no way humorous.
Okay. I decided to call it "Nothing Special" because that's what Andy Warhol wanted to call a TV show, and I think it's a little bit awesome. Plus, I think that every person is in some way extrordinary, so the name is kind of ironic. I think I've been in school for too long.
I'm not totally sure why I started a blog, but this will be totally awesome (uggghhhh, high school vocabulary!) when Veronique moves. She can check here instead of having to read my outrgeously rambly emails. BA-HA!!! My not-so-devious plan worked!!! Since when does THAT happen???
Hmmmm, well, I'm kinda bored now.
Tell your friends--this is totally NOT the coolest place to be. I need a less plugged in life.
